No frills Prints

By which I actually mean ‘unmounted’, but I liked the ‘no frills’ idea….

All of which is a long winded way of highlighting the fact that three new mini prints have been added to the website shop this week. These come in cellophane, with a backing board, so you can choose to mount and/or frame them however you wish. These are small - the two larger ones are A5 size, and the square one is 6×6”, but they are Giclee prints - on archival paper and printed using long-lasting inks.

A bit more about the subject of one of these prints below; or you can go straight to the shop using the link here……

Dundrennan Abbey

This is a print of my original painting of one of our local historic buildings. The remains of Dundrennan Abbey are looked after by Historic Scotland, and it dates back to the twelfth century.

Dundrennan is known as the place where Mary Queen of Scots spent her last night in Scotland after the battle of Langside in 1568. She then crossed the Solway from Port Mary to Maryport in Cumbria and was subsequently imprisoned.
