Winter Dreams
Another small original piece of artwork for sale in my Folksy shop. This is “Winter Dreams” a 20cm circular canvas, supplied with a wooden display stand. I’d call this a flight of fancy: I painted this in Acrylic paint, enjoying the colours which evolved as I went along, but it seemed incomplete to me. The addition of the winding flowers in ink and acrylic pen around the edge seemed to add another dimension. You will see whatever your imagination tells you with this one, but to me it’s Winter in the fluid blues and whites, with the promise of Spring in the brighter colours, and a hint of the same in the cool flowers…… Make of it what you will! I enjoyed creating it, I hope you like it too.
