South for the winter…

….No - not me - the latest addition to the Original Art section of the website shop.

This is “Travellers”, a larger original painting, professionally framed in dark blue. The inspiration for the work was the House Martins who have been prolific here this summer, and who have now gone away to warmer climes for the winter. It’s great to watch these hardworking little birds, and always good to see them come back each year.

The painting is in mixed media, on canvas board, and is available for sale in the shop.
