Sleepy

Sleepy the fox is the current star of my website home & gallery page. His picture was part of some Autumn-themed decorative sketches I was trying out with a view to using them on the website. I was enjoying myself, trying out a different surface (Hahnemuhle Mixed Media Universalblock for those who want to know) with pencil, ink and pastel, and was really pleased with the result. As a consequence, I thought I might get some prints done, in case anyone liked the picture as much as I did.

After I had redecorated my website in its Autumn colours, and while I was thinking about this, I was contacted by a customer asking if it was possible to have an A3 sized print of Sleepy. (the original picture is slightly larger than A5) I was doubtful that the picture would work at a much larger size, but I trotted down to the printers to ask, and was told that yes, it should look fine!

And it did!

(Excuse me hiding behind it!)

Here is the picture of the A3 print in its new frame and new home, sent to me by my lovely customer (thank you!)

Currently, mounted prints of Sleepy are available in the website shop to fit in a 10x8” frame only.

A greetings card of this picture is also available.

But as we’ve proved he looks just as good at A3 size, if anyone wants to buy an A3 UNMOUNTED print, please contact me using the website contact form for further information.
