Sabotage!

Yesterday I was supposed to be continuing with work on this website, but I got a little distracted because there was daylight, and sunshine…and so I found myself sitting at my desk with a paintbrush in hand, taking advantage of the light for a little bit of painting.

Then Jerry came on the scene. “Nice; company while I paint,” I thought.

But no: Jerry inspected everything around my desk. Then jumped up for a closer look. He wandered over to the table and decided he didn’t like the smell of the (citrus) paintbrush cleaner. He came back, standing on my palette on the way. Green paint all over a front paw. Then he decided he would sit on my knee - wiping his green paw on my blue trousers in the process. And he sat down and started purring.

Have you ever tried to paint over a cat sitting on your knee? I can confirm it’s a challenge.

I’m not wholly convinced Jerry thought much of the painting-in-progress!

After that activity, he took up residence on the sofa and went to sleep.

I'm still trying to get green paint off my trousers.
