Hot on the heels of my Improbable Owls (three have sold already; their friends are still looking for homes!) I have a few other gifts to add to my website and Folksy shops.
These are a new addition to the shop. The company I used to print my lens cloths also do, among other things, designs printed on ceramic tiles. I ordered three of my designs to see what they looked like - and was rather pleased with the results.
Then there was the issue of frames: Eventually I stumbled on a small business who make a number of wooden items from reclaimed wooden pallets. I ordered a bespoke size of these, and am pleased to say that my ceramic tiles fit very well in them, giving a nice frame and a unique item, as each frame is slightly different.
The first of these are now available for sale in the website shop, and will be added to my Folksy shop soon too.
Personally I’d use these as a freestanding piece of art, on a shelf or a mantlepiece, but they could also be hung on the wall. Other possibilities include decorative coasters, or even a little trinket box - and I’m sure there are other options which I haven’t thought of as well!
Hope you like them!
