Another Circle

I have to admit to being both surprised and pleased with this one!

“Clouds Over the Glenkens” is another original mixed media painting on a 20cm diameter circular canvas, available to purchase, and supplied with one of those handy wooden stands. I started this painting quite a while ago, and then decided I didn’t like it, it wasn’t going to work, and I would pursue other projects instead. Waiting for other paint to dry, just after the new year, I picked it up again, and decided to continue and see what happened. And I’m pleased with the result! The view is from Bellymack Hill near Laurieston in Galloway, looking north west (I think - forgive my dubious geography) towards the mountains, with the River Dee winding it’s way through the valley. I hope you like it.
